LASIK or Lasik, commonly referred to as laser eye surgery or laser vision correction, is a type of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
Cataract surgery is a procedure to remove your eye’s lens when it becomes cloudy. This procedure is recommended when a cataract keeps you from doing things you want or need to do.
Glaucoma is a slowly progressive condition which can cause gradual loss of peripheral vision. Because of this, many patients aren’t aware of any symptoms of glaucoma, and it is only diagnosed by an attentive eye care provider.
While we are a full medical clinic, we also offer vision exams for glasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, and contact lenses. We offer a wide variety of frames, lenses, and contact lenses. People who have diabetes or poor blood sugar control are at risk for diabetic retinopathy. Risk also increases the longer someone has diabetes. If you have not had an eye exam with a eye care provider, it is crucial to get one now. Be careful not to skip the follow-up exams that your doctor recommends.
Eye irritation, burning, and tearing may be symptoms of dry eye disease. Our doctors offer many treatments for this condition, including eye drops, punctal plugs, prescription medications, and the new Ilux (a handheld device that applies heat and compression via a sterile, single-patient use disposable Smart Tip to treat meibomian gland dysfunction; see video below).

The clinic great and staffs are friendly and welcoming. Dr. Thompson’s examinations are more thorough than the previous Dr’s consultation. He was patient and took the time to explain things. He told us, in my opinion, the right thing versus what we wanted to hear.
