Dr. Robert Thompson, Dr. Laura Toren, and Dr. Audrey Blacklock provide comprehensive state of the art eye care for their patients. Not only do we perform comprehensive vision exams for glasses and contact lenses, we also perform medical exams to check for eye diseases including dry eye syndrome, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes. Our clinic also offers laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK refractive surgery) and cataract surgery to improve your vision. On the medical side, our clinic has advanced OCT technology to screen for, diagnose, and manage chronic eye diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, epiretinal membranes, etc. Whether you have a pink eye, a red eye, a painful eye, or any other eye or vision problem, our clinic treats a full spectrum of eye diseases. And if you only need glasses or contact lenses, we have a large selection of contact lenses, eyeglasses, and sunglasses in our Optical shop!
Our eye clinic is conveniently located in downtown Shawnee, Kansas near interstate I-35 and Shawnee Mission Parkway. The clinic great and staffs are friendly and welcoming. Dr. Thompson’s examinations are more thorough than the previous Dr’s consultation. He was patient and took the time to explain things. He told us, in my opinion, the right thing versus what we wanted to hear.
